He took 15 shots off the bench and some of them were wide open. We got him open looks. What more does he want? He needs to show it before he can speak.

He's 100% right. Hero ball will not win this series. It may actually get this team swept and embarrassed.

    He is right..

iso ball is cool but we arent going to beat GS with that approach most of the time.

Shots arent going to fall sometimes. and then what?

If the ball is moving, like GS, then things will open up towards the rim.

I thought the coaching yesterday was the most glaring. MDA was outclassed. Did not adjust.

i think EG's point is well-taken. it was iso ball out there last night. no ball movement means we aren't getting easy shots and we aren't getting our other weapons involved. EG and Clint need to be more involved for us to beat the Warriors.

    BALL MOVEMENT DAMNIT!

If the warriors are just going to stay home on all our shooters. Harden/Cp3 need to run the PnR sooner in the shot clock or attack the basket sooner. We run down the clock, try to get to the basket, and if we do kick it out our guys are covered/forced to reset but we have no time for a proper reset.

If only Ryno wasn't playing like a punk, we could run some pick n pops for some different looks but you know. Ryno gonna ryno.

We should of kept Lue and sent his $18mil ass somewhere else. I've never seen a guard fumble the ball and look like hes gonna fall over whenever they drive or dribble the ball

He needs the opportunity to make sure he dribbles off both shoes. One foot was getting too much pounding last night because of limited opportunities to spread it around to both sneakers.

Most his looks weren't that open. He did miss a few but nobody really got clean looks last night. When GS switches everything it allows them to man up on everybody & focus on Harden. The Rockets can get away with ISO ball against Utah, with Gobert being the weaklink. But when Draymond Green is your center and you have 3 other great defender behind him, the Rockets won't get good looks without ball movement. This is all MDA & Daryl Morey. Gordon is not going to get good looks standing in the corner waiting for a pass from Harden. MDA did not adjust his offense at all last night

if people are expecting wide open clean looks over the course of a game then they aren't being realistic when youre playing the best defensive team in the league and defending champs. guys like luc, eg, pj got plenty of good looks. they just didn't execute. just bc they missed doesn't make them not actual shots theyve taken all year. the statement of weren't that open is mute

You could almost hear groans coming from the crowd when Harden or Paul would iso for 18 seconds. I'd like to see the Rockets go back to how they were earlier in the year when there was more movement/passing in the offense.

On that same token though, the Rockets are pretty damn efficient with the iso offense. Sometimes it just boils down to making your open 3s and free throws.

Don't air this in the public. He is frustrated to no point looks like, which is not good. The other side of arguments is maybe we should look for someone that will be contempt in a role standing at the corner. In his case, he is undersized, and when his shooting is off, it's very difficult to get it going. He did get the ball and he blew it so many times, then more ISOs.

Whether he's right or not, this isn't a good look at this point in the season.
