Boston in a great position. Good talent, good trade pieces in players, good draft picks, high upside young talent on the roster still.
Here's the math: http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0674040322476479425-4 Maybe Marcus Smart? I'd take him to add to our collection of perimeter players with thick bodies. Maybe having him would allow Houston to trade Eric Gordon. Boston would want value for these guys, but perhaps the Rockets have value to give? 1st rounder a few years from now-- Ainge likes these future picks. Maybe a foreign player's draft rights.
I don't care. I have a special kind of dislike / hate to the Utah J!zz franchise and its fans. They can go suck on @swyyyguy
they took way too much flak for paul george. giving up assets for a 1 year rental of paul george was always a dumb idea. i think ainge knows what he's doing
Thank goodness! Really didn't want him in the Jazz since they were growing into a good team over there. Enough to make life difficult for the Rockets.
They have a team that can contend now AND they have high upside young players and high future picks. If they trade crowder, which I'm not convinced they will or should, they will want to get guys who can help them now I would think.
Yeah, pending what else happens obviously, this basically nukes the jazz. They'll still be a team nobody likes to play because they are well coached and will play tough defense, but their offense just won't have it.
I knew J!zz would get worse the moment they traded for Ricky Bricky Rubio Hayward is like, "I ain't going to play 4 vs 5 on offense"
Smart would be great here, but i don't see how we can get him tbh...future 1st and fillers? Mmh...not sure it's enough. Also, have Morey and Ainge ever made a deal? Lol
He's a great player. Good defender, good shooter, low ego on the court, good creator for others, moves off of the ball... Honestly he is a player you absolutely love to have as your star. He's probably not good enough to be your teams best player and win a championship though. Will be interesting to follow the celtics. They have a lot of talent basically up and down the roster but no true absolute superstars
I think if you can get a star like Hayward at his age through free agency you have to do it. And obviously it helps them. But I don't think this propels them into contention. They have a big three but not one of their big three is a top 15 player. They'll get to the Eastern Conference Finals again and then LeBron will crush them again.
