^Wow, what are the Cavs thinking? Why would you stunt Andrew Wiggins' development like that?

This is why people don't like you, Dan Gilbert

Either one could play 2/3. That combination of defense would make up for Irving's lack of D and then some.

lmao he has already came out saying that he believes Wiggins is a big two (which I don't really agree with), but he's due to go after Ariza too for the same reason.

Even IF he is a big 2, you don't stick him next to a scoring/dominant 3! Ariza/Deng would be MUCH more reasonable

100% true - Hayward is a really good player and probably a bit underrated because he plays in Utah - but you just drafted a guy #1 overall who was touted to be the next big superstar and you do something like this? Unless if he feels Hayward/Wiggins can play side by side but that then leaves Waiters again out in the dust.

The Cavs front office is just terrible - a complete revolving circus - its not a surprise LeBron wanted out of there - they would have wasted the career of one of the greatest players ever

Waiters is gone. Too many strikes for him to exist with Blatt.

Very true, better to ship him out preemptively than sell low after the inevitable clash

Hayward had .06 win shares (less than half of Parsons) while shooting 30% from 3 and playing bad D.

I don't get it. It's his fifth year.

Just because he can cover 3 positions badly doesn't make him a good defender

They don't have much choice to be honest. Between him and Kyrie they're all but done but theyre trying to improve no matter how minute because its Cleveland lol

It's one thing to improve and another to strive for mediocrity. You don't sign borderline all-star to max deals when you just drafted one of the best wings in the draft.

Border line allstar? More like decent offensive player...
