I honestly never get the feeling that Harden is averse to passing the ball. I think he LIKES it. I don't see him as a stat w**** in any form or fashion. The times when the ball get sticky are when Harden is forced to have to iso in order to create a play by himself, if no one else is open, and sometimes the other players are guilty of just waiting around for him to create a play with his dribble drive.
The BEST example of how selfless Harden can be was during his team in OKC when he ran the offense and Westbrook played shooting guard. That was a thing of pure beauty.
First, Dragic actually played a whole lot of SG last year and thrived in that situation. Dragic arguably wouldn't be the second worst point guard among western conference playoff teams. Paul, Parker and Curry are obviously superior to Gogi. However I don't think that Conley, Lillard, Bledsoe or Harris are better than Gogi. Also it isn't entirely positional. Look at it like this, what backcourt would be better than a rotation of Gogi/Harden/Beverly?
Uhh yeah, actually I would say the Rockets are an unselfish team when it comes to offense. There is no one that I would consider a really selfish offensive player.
Len and Plumlee ARE NOT rim protectors. Len averages about 0.7 blocks per game. Plumlee is 0.8. Not saying they are bad defenders, but neither are the type of guys you ask to shut down the paint. Capela is that type of guy. They don't have anyone similar to him on their roster. Having said that, I do think he will need to prove himself in the NBA (at least somewhat) before he can be considered a big piece in a trade.
dragic not being better than those pg's is pretty much debatable. its not like dragic is way worse like you're making it out to be.

Sounds to me like a player not happy with his Dynex-level of playing time when he clearly deserves Sony Bravia treatment.
if you're asking will Dragic's numbers go down from last year were he to play on this rockets team? Yes, without a doubt his numbers would drop in PPG and maybe APG. He'd probably average 16-17 point per game on the rockets along with 6 assists.
I think there's a danger here: Dwight doesn't want to to do too much pick n roll, while we would have two of the best pick n roll players in the league.
It seems he wants to do more pick and roll, but he isn't getting the opportunity. He is a versatile player who happens to be a good defender too. He will have to adjust to Harden, but I feel he will do much better than Lin for us, because he is mentally stronger and more talented as well.
