Dragic's already 29 how much more coaching does he need? People at their age already maxed out their skills, they just need to follow the game plan.
I'm not saying he needs a coach to get better with his individual skills. I'm saying in an awesome system like Pop runs Dragic would be deadlier.
Still better your favorite PF Patrick Patterson with 4 points, 2 rebounds in 22 minutes against the Warriors. At least D-Mo scored 11 points and went 18 and 9 against the Clippers in the previous game. I do wish that D-Mo did a lot better on the boards, but he isn't junk by any means.
The funny thing about silly spurs worship is that Popovich would be the first to scoff at the idea he has magic pixie dust to sprinkle on players.

Has Goran found his 3pt shot yet? He's been missing badly in MIA. Sorry, Goran, you're not getting the max. Except if MIA is desperate to keep you.
Everyone wants to go the East to inflate their stats. LeBron is a great player no doubt but has benefitted from feasting on a bench of garbage teams out in the East where he piles big numbers which in turn adds to his legacy.
So he pretty much led on the Suns FO and then back peddled after the Thomas trade? Maybe those rumors of Goran wanting to screw over Houston was more than true. What a ****er.
Lebron had 40 against the Warriors a few games back and had 37 against the Rockets with an off game. I'm sure Lebron would put up big numbers no matter what conference he is in.
you guys are both right to an extent. i think lebron would have had to put up slightly better numbers in the east all these years. lebron knew what he was doing these two games. he was trying to prop up his mvp chances by beating curry and harden while having big numbers, and he came damn close.
Let's just say he isn't the brightest mind when it comes down to decision making. I give him that at age 27 he might take a look at the last two big contracts in his career. He isn't all about competing for a championship that is for sure. He isn't really selfish on the field but he does not strike me as a No1 or a good No2 option. At best he is a serviceable No3 option on a contending team. He isn't unselfish either.
I don't think that the Suns come off looking much worse than Goran Dragic does by calling him, or in fact any player, selfish. Team owners and management are always looking out for their self-interest. They, especially Suns owner Robert Sarver, watch out for their bottom line often to the detriment of winning. They trade players like assets. Why should should a player sacrifice his self-interest so that Robert Sarver's franchise get more income and elevate in value? One thing I appreciate about Morey is that even though he is open about treating players like assets (out of necessity, he would contend) and plays hard-ball in negotiations with players, he never complains about players watching out for their self-interest (like Parsons going out and signing the best contract for himself).

I would not say Morey does never complain about players watching out for their self interest. He might tell his kids, tell his wife or lover but never have it leaked out to the media or public. That I give you.
