Miami should ended up in the top 5 or 6 and a possible 1st round matchup with the Cavs. If you hate the Heat or Lebron, how can you not root for that matchup?
They could be a lottery team in 2017... Miami will get paraded as having made a great deal, but they are basically like the Nets of last season.

So the same deal as Bosh? That's insane. Bosh signed for 5 years, 120 mil if I recall. Can you imagine the Heat having 45-50 mil tied up in 2 players for the next 4 years?
Too bad they didn't show the same fearlessness with regard to spending when they still had the best player in the world on their team. Isn't this the same team that cut one of Lebron's favorite teammates to save a few bucks in luxury taxes?
They will look like geniuses if they make it out of the first round and we don't. They will look like idiots if they don't make the playoffs or out of the first round and we do. If neither of us make it out of the first round, meh, they will still look better. If we both make it out of the first round, both teams will seem to have made the right moves.

The 2017 pick could be fantastic. They'll have $40 MM tied up in Bosh & Dragic who will both be ~32, Wade is already on the decline, and who knows how Whiteside (likely to take up another ~$10-$12 MM of cap) will react after getting a major contract. Could end up being a pick similar to Houston's Pellies pick. Not as bad of a deal as I initially thought for PHX.
This is a blessing in the skies I did not want Morey to give up the lotto pick for a rental. Expect Morey to wheel and deal during draft night.
Too bad your ego is ahead of your ambition Dragic. Unless your ambition is beach, babes and bling...then good for ya! That Heat starting five...the EC better watch out.
