I wouldn't use the word 'disgrace', as deciding not to attend is certainly their right, but it is misplaced. It isn't Donald Trump they are visiting, it is the President of the United States. Who that person is is not that relevant...the invite is still an honor. The honor isn't from 'Trump', it is from the POTUS. Refusing it is a bit disrespectful, not of Trump, but of the office of President. But, it is their right to do so, and I'm pretty sure Trump won't care. So, some will support it, others will look down on the team and the players because of it, but the world will pretty much go on as if it never even came up.
Not saying Trump is the worst person in history, but are you saying you would support GS visit anyone who is TPOTUS?
Would be comical if Trump tweeted that he never invited them in the first place. I wouldnt be susprised
Overall it seems like a good idea for any organization to avoid being even marginally associated with Trump. Especially, ones that concern themselves with branding to a global audience. The guy isn't popular at home or abroad. His name will eventually be an anchor around the neck of everyone that tacitly approved of him. GS is making the right call here.
The office of the President, errr... Trump, will just have to get over it which is probably not going to happen because we know what a narcissistic, thin skinned cry baby the office of the President, errr... Trump, is.
Man Man, the pedophile sitting next to Trump looks scary. The Donald should insulate himself from people like that.
Are we watching the same President? He'll care. He'll tweet about it late at night. I've never seen a President who is so insecure.
Not unless you built a Wall between the Dish and the D&D. Keep those criminals and rapists in the D&D from crossing the border into the Land of Basketball.
You can't really blame them for not wanting to be second fiddle - It's a disgrace that they haven't yet been invited to the Kremlin.
Trump is at 36% approval according to Gallup. Which is historically bad for this early in a Presidency. He has had nothing but failures (travel ban, border wall, Obamacare replacement) embarrassments and investigations since this country was inflicted with him. Why would anyone want to associate themselves with him?
hating on trump? i guess kevin durant saw a bandwagon and couldn't resist jumping on. but seriously, good for the warriors. in terms of insecurity, he makes shaq look like barkley.
I can't really reply without getting political, so I'll try not to. All I'll say is that I don't care.
