I'm sure a team(s) did. What I'm guessing happened is he didn't get the giant offer he was wanting so he decided to take an easy year off and join the Warriors.

The worst part of this whole thing is that KD will finally have the help he needs to get it done.

Lol he is getting it done without Cousins, they win it with or without Cousins. But it is a guarantee to have a healthy Cousins that is.

Players want to get paid, exactly. With this now a thing, ownership groups and media stooges will demand that all stars take paycuts or be eaten alive by the media for "not sacrificing everything for RANGZ".
It doesn't make a difference anyway, the warriors play 8 on 5 whenever presented with a challenge. You shouldn't be interested in a league where the best team is propped up entirely by insecure b****es scared about "getting muh rangz!" and the commissioner calling the refs to make sure they win every series.

Obviously the addition of Cousins tilts the NBA even more towards GSW and unless something dramatic happens the Warriors will win out again, but I will still root hard for HOU and will obviously watch all the games. We only play GSW three times anyway... and may sneak a game out or even two. Don't expect much come playoffs... and once eliminated I move on to other sports. Which I suspect most folks will be doing... the NBA may see a huge drop off in post season interest, viewership, and discussion? I have a hunch that unless BOS improves significantly there will be a big dropoff between any likely GSW-BOS finals.

Then be part of the drop then in ratings. What's the point in watching a team that has zero chance of winning, even if they get close, you KNOW the league will only send its finest company men to STEAL it from us.

The only way to win is not to play.

Careful wishing for something like that when we have a QB coming off an ACL injury. Sometimes karma can come back and bite ya.

This is the Warriors response to the Rockets switching defense?

Good luck switching our guards onto him, if we're intending to continue that strategy.

Simple, I don't want to punish the team or local community. Nor do I want to punish myself the enjoyment of watching and rooting for the Rockets. If the playoff ratings... especially the Finals has a noticeable dropoff of viewership and fan interest (yet another Warriors championship... another four game series) then the NBA may notice and care.

I mean there is no guarantee Cousins will be the same guy he was before the injury - or even half of that, but he is only 28 and there's a good chance he could be a very good player still by the playoffs. Just scary how good they could be.
