Durant signing with the warriors removed a lot of the competitive tension of the nba for me, but I still enjoyed watching the warriors excellent play.

DeMarcus cousins signing with the warriors on the other hand makes them much less watchable imo. Cousins is probably my least favorite player in the nba. He doesn't play defense, pouts horrendously on the court, a terrible team player and just seems like a losing player. Perhaps the warriors culture and player will rub off on him, but I don't want to watch him and Draymond yelling and complaining. One of them is already too much.

 

So the Rockets lose Ariza, can't acquire LeBron due to the cap, and the Warriors add Cousins. Cool.

 

I didn't feel like this day would come for the NBA. This all but signals the Endgame for the NBA. I didn't think I'd ever see this moment come to realisation but it struck me in the most sudden and perverse way possible.

I didn't feel this way when the Heatles joined up in Miami. I didn't feel this way when Durant joined the Warriors in '16. But now there is a profound sense of loss and astonishment which I am overswept by and will probably never overcome.

Goodbye NBA.

I gotta disagree. This is actually one of the few things which would make them, and the NBA more tolerable this upcoming season.

 

A bunch of defeatists in this thread. It's no guarantee Boogie is going to be a net positive. He may bog down their offense and may not be quick enough to hang on defense with shooters all around.
