Going into the last two weeks of the NBA, is there a True MVP?

Lebron is exceptional at so many things, I just find it hard to not say he's the most valuable player in the league. The heat will always be dysfunctional but Lebron has been consistently amazing on both ends, and the stats verify this.

If we're giving it to the best player on a great team then it should go to Durant.

Its pretty much a one man team now, d wade is averging career lows and bosh is a non factor. Big 3 my ass. Hell it aint even a big 2, okcs big two have better numbers than lebron and wade. Lebron is better than durant but westbrokk >>>>>>>>>>>wade.


And outsife of the "big 3" the heat is all garbage d league rejects and 40 year old fab 5 member

LeBron is having a historically great year! Just because his team has struggled recently doesn't take that away.

Durant will get one in the next few years, but it belongs to LeBron easily this year!

 

If we look just stats then it's Kevin Love who should get MVP, but it's about team success too.

Who do you want to shoot when the game is on the line? Your best player. And for Miami that is Dwyane Wade. For Oklahoma that is Kevin Durant who is btw statisticly most clutch player this year(clutch=last 5 minutes when game is within 5 points).

Perimeter player who wants to be MVP and best player in the world must shoot free throws at least 80%. And when he is under pressure in last minutes when that is much more important he misses it even more.

That's a ridculous statement. Wade is still one of the best players in the league and right now he is still better than Westbrook. Bosh has been slumping since the ASB and he's still the best third best player in the league. You don't have to belittle the other players on Miami in order to make the MVP case for Lebron.

Westbrook is avereging 24.1 ppg, 4.6 rbs, 5.4 assist 1.7 steals this season

Wade is avg 22.5, 4.9, 4.7 this year.



As for bosh hes straight ass this year, worthless soft big man who cant rebound or bang.

Look at the Hornets last year compared to this year, and the Clips last year compared to this year.. one constant is CP3

 

Before the season Wade was better than Westbrook.. now i think Westbrook is better


But a healthy Wade destroys Westbrook..

 

too many people acting like Thunder are the best team in the league when they're not even #1 in their own conference. they're also 0-3 against the Spurs but lets ignore that.

seems people holding Heats loss to the Bulls way more against them.

 

cp3 has been the best clutch player for a few years, while he wasn't shooting the game winners as much himself in the past, the output at new orleans when paul was on the court during clutch time was phenomenal.

This year he's shooting more, but it's just giving more media awareness to something that was already known, he has the best decision making and execution at crunch time, and it's not really close.

 

CP3 transformed the Clippers, look at their winning percentage compared to last year. He's a proven leader, elite playmaker and one of the best players in the clutch. If it goes to value to his team I think he's the MVP.

Still think it will go down to KD vs. Bron because of hype.

 

I don't get how LeBron and Wade get MVP votes. Imo. Those who carry their team are the real MVP's like Tony Parker, Rondo etc.

Durant shouldn't be in discussion since he's playing with Westbrook.

Nevermind the fact that Boston has a winning record without Rondo.

 

Maybe they are ignoring the Thunder losing all three meetings to the Spurs this year, because it isn't true?

Just a theory on my part though.

 

OKC without Durant is a joke.

It's not really fair to rate CP3 higher than Lebron and Durant simply because CP3 is now in his 1st year with a previously sucky team.
