No whammies-no whammies-no whammies----STOP! Spoiler Damn, angel of death. Better luck next time I guess
They still have christmas ale at pub fiction, btw. Had some last night. (No fatty sightings I suppose if I say "chili with beans" three times in the mirror he will appear)
I had some at the Sporting News Grill off of Eldridge on Sunday while watching the Texans lose to the Broncos.
About the OP. This is why Stevie Johnson is my new favorite NFL player. You constantly hear guys thank God for their success, and never for their failures. Welp, God, I hate to break it to you, but Stevie keeps it real. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/sh...ames-God-for-his-overtime-drop?urn=nfl-289770
Correction: God gets ALL the credit. That's why he's God. (It always amuses me when I see people trying to hold God to human standards.)
By the way...I'd like to point out to the OP that the Bible is chock-full of "holy crap...this is all bad...where the hell are you God?" it comes up over and over again in the Bible. not sure where you're getting the idea that people never blame God for crap. i've seen and talked with people who were actively angry with God.
If you are upset that someone isn't giving you enough credit for your "accomplishments" in charity work you are probably in it for the wrong reasons anyway.
Seen below. Jeremiah was very angry with God. People get angry with and blame God all the time for the hardships in life.
There's nothing wrong with expecting a thank you. It's not about getting 'enough' credit, it's about having full credit given to something else. With that said, the woman probably gave her thanks to those who helped. If she didn't, I wouldn't feel compelled to be so charitable to this woman in the future.
I know what you said. You are piggybacking on my comments towards a poster who said he'd be upset to not be getting full credit for his "accomplishments." Please remember that context.
