Yeah, I think if we are going to take Clowney, just load up on D and maybe use a 3rd or 4th on quaterback. I'm in favor of trading down from 33 pretty much regardless of who we take at 1. I like the idea of loading up on 2nd, 3rd and 4rth round picks. Now if you can use the extra late picks to move up, I would not mind that either.

 

let's just agree no one knows who the f the texans are taking. and if you happen to get it right, you just got lucky.

 

They're taking Bortles uke

This report is just them trying to put Clowney or a OT possibly in the form of the #1 pick "on the block".

I got to hand it to them, they have tried every which way imaginable to dangle the pick in an attempt to move down and take Mr. Measurables uke again, I just don't think there will be any takers. Fact is for all of Clowney's talent, the league seems cold on him probably because of the questions about motor and work ethic.

I think the Texan's are stuck where they are and will end up completely reaching for Bortles at #1, I just wish they had the cajones to take JFF there but guts have never been their strength so they'll draft a guy who is likely third at his position this year and likely no higher than 4th of the guys coming next year.

With Bortles, we won't see him much this year but it will completely take us out of consideration for Winston, Hundley or Mariota next year, and then next year and beyond Bortles will suck it up for us.
