How can one be a fan of both the Clippers AND the Rocks? You must have been doing backflips during the Conference Semi's.
The most amazing part here is someone write a whole multi-point article arguing a hypothetical espoused by Glen Davis, and published it on CBS Sports. If the Clippers advance further this year it will be because of Pierce's influence more than anything. I love CP3 and his game... And yes the Clips bench sucked... But dude has had a lot of chances to get farther and just can't get it done.
What amazes me is how little criticism Blake has gotten. Dumbass here thinks he'd been the key to beating the Warriors after we witnessed the biggest disappearing act since Copperfield and the Statue of Liberty.
Blake Griffin put up some huge numbers during last season's playoffs. He was essentially a one man wrecking crew last season with the bench being completely inept. To me, he just ran out of gas.
Even though they have a rivalry with the Warriors, the Clippers literally paved the road to the Warriors championship last year. The only two teams that had a legitimate shot at beating the Warriors in the playoffs were the Clippers and the Spurs. The Clippers went ahead and went all in to eliminate the Spurs. Then they decided they ran out of gas and eliminated themselves thinking that they had already won the series with the Rockets. That said, I still think the Warriors would have beaten the Clippers, but the Clips would have made them sweat to get to the finals.
If the Clippers were to good, then why did they lose against the Rockets? It doesn't matter who should win, it's who ends up winning. The way nearly every major media outlet places Blake Griffin and Chris Paul on a higher tier than our own Houston Rockets players, you would somewhat have to expect the Clippers to make it to at least one WCF. It's great Glen Davis thought his team could have beaten Golden State but they lost for a reason against the Rockets. Can't count your chickens before they hatch.
No.... Just no. He was the second facilitator on the team and besides offensive burden nvr stopped the national media from crucifing Harden's defense. Funny part is Harden actually played some very good D in critical moments while Blake did the opposite. All when it mattered most.
I seriously don't understand what you are saying here. I was just commenting that Blake Griffin put up huge numbers in the playoffs last year and you are talking about the national media crucifying Harden's D. Is Blake Griffin supposed to stop the media from commenting on Harden's D? Until the Rockets put Josh Smith in the starting lineup and increased his minutes, Griffin was scoring on the Rockets like it was a dunk contest. Terrance Jones and DMo are serviceable options at the 4 spot on offense, but their defense will get eaten alive by dominant power forwards.
