That commercial insults me as well.

    Helicopters!
    Secret research facilities!
    Science fiction inventions!
    Dramatic music!
    Pretty colors!

Yeah, THAT'LL get me to buy a f***king disposable razor. Gillette's ad agency apparently doesn't understand the concept of "over-the-top."

My post above was the tag line for the first ever SNL commercial back in the 70's. Kinda scary how they nailed the future of facial scraping.

LOL. I was beginning to wonder. :)

    To clarify, I use this:

    It's worth every penny, IMO.

I got the vibrating one at Randall's for 8.99. If you buy it you get a free 8 pack of gatorade (5 bucks). What a sweet deal.

I think that the commercials are royally stupid also, but no other razor gives me as good of a shave.

So, the anticipation was killing me, and I gave the Fusion a try. First things first, I HATE the vibrating feature. Past that, it gave me a close shave, but I sort of like the Mach 3 better. IMO, the Fusion was not really any more comfortable than the Mach 3. And it didn't clean quite as well -- the rubbery piece that is supposed to bristle the hair has much smaller grooves, and shaving cream would not clean out of it as quickly as it would with the Mach 3. We'll see how it lasts over a week or two of use, but right now, I'm not all that impressed.
