Lol get over yourself. Nobody hates the Grizzlies....nobody even cares about the Grizzlies. I have no idea why he posted that on here, but he's the only one. I like Gilbert and want to see him succeed.

IT'S A ROCKETS FORUM. You're in another team's forum, who's in the same conference as your team, they're fighting for playoff positioning, and you ask why we hate on them? C'mon now....

Great... another team signs a solid vet for the min...while we continue to skulk through the DLeague for someone to sign... I'm really gettin sick of this kinda stuff. Other teams signs TMacs, Stackhouses, Arenas, etc for the minimum - why dont we? We brought in a spiraling downward Steve Francis a few years back and Van Gundy was all about the Knicks retreads - most all of which were not good. But when you got an opening (as we do) mdseason like this, why not bring in someone who you know can contribute on at least a limited basis...rather than soeone who hasnt logged any significant time in the league....

Really? I was going to ask if you were actually this naive, but then I remembered you thought the joke rumor of Kobe wanting to go to the Grizzlies was true. And you think the homerism in us is high.
I wouldn't bet on Arenas contributing much of anything, but he's certainly worth a flier. He'll cost almost nothing and his upside is much higher than the average minimum salary player.
