This would so be the racial hot topic if the roles and teams were flipped, with public outrages all over the place. Notwithstanding, yea, it's a dirty play. Should never take it into your own hands. It could've escalated to MitP levels, thibbs kept the Bulls classy. Alphabet should get at least a 2 game ban, but hell, the NBA whiffed on Perkins, so, maybe he won't.

Are you outraged by possible outrage?

Giannis, young grasshopper, will learn the ways of the old, dirty players. If you're going to be dirty, be sneaky and dirty. A look-away karate chop to the neck won't end up on SportsCenter, but a full court chase down and tackle will...

That why I don't consider what he did dirty. Dirty implies, cheap, sneaky and unjustified.

Giannis was provoked and he came at Dunleavy head on. Obviously its a flagrant 2 and possible suspension, but I don't really have a problem with what he did

    Looks clean to me.

He was going for the block but was late. As a result he ended up making lower body contact.

I mean, it was more of an outright (arguably justifiable) attack than a basketball play, so I don't know if 'dirty' is the right word

Tell you what. Why dont you raise your hands so that your ribs are exposed, jump up and have a 200lb athletic man ram your side while they are in full sprint.

Remember when Jones got kneed by Faried and he was sidelined for a while. Imagine Dunleavy not being able to play the next series due to a broken rib?

Lost a lot of respect for Dunlavy here, he definitely deserved it. Refs let him get away with dirty plays and there was a retaliation.

Of course it was dirty. But it looked like it was also provoked by Dunleavy on a previous play.

They are both dirty. Antipasto isn't better because he was dirty second.

Being blown out and Dunleavy is cheap shotting your teammate and even caused him to go the locker room.

I wouldn't call it a dirty play more like "IDGAF I'm just going to hit you play".

Dirty under most circumstances but it's Dunleavy so it's a good hit.
