For me, it's between Live and Bush for the 2 worst bands, maybe of all time...definitely of the 90's. I don't use the word "hate" often but I F***ING HATE those 2 bands.

I recognize the first notes of their songs so quickly that the station is changed before anyone else knew a song had started.

 

ive told people before that lighting crashes was the most played song of the 90's on the radio. it played solid for 2-3 years after it was released. it would take a break for 6 months and then they would act like it was just released again put back into full circulation.

I think you are massively underrating the pure suck that was No Doubt.

No Doubt and Bush definitely ranked in the top 10. Hated suffering through car rides listening to "I'm just a Girl" and "Glycerine".

 

Just because Gavin Rossdale wronged Gwen doesn't mean he'll wrong you. Give him a chance. Open yourself up, bro. Yes, you might get hurt, but you will also be opening yourself up to experience joy and happiness like you've never known.

 

I think you guys underestimate how many REALLY awful bands there were in the 90's....especially, but not limited to, the late 90's






If we REALLY think about it, neither Bush or No Doubt even come close to the top 10 worst.

 

I was going to echo the poster's above stating just how awful Bush and Live were but then saw this and yeah, it really doesn't get much worse than this.

Yeah, late 90's, like somewhere around 97 if I remember correctly.

Also in the 90's, it shouldn't qualify as a "band" but this awfulness happened

 

LB and Bush I can completely understand, but LP came out with Hybrid Theory in 2000, which is an amazing album. If you want to include it in "late 90s" I don't understand how you can consider them to be bad.

With all the **** they've turned out since Meteora now...by all means I have to turn the radio off whenever they come on but you have to respeck the early days.

 

Ah, you're right, I guess I just lumped all of that together and LP did come along later than that.

Personally LP was never something I considered good, but maybe that's just my personal taste.
