    This.

People loved Brewer in the 14-15 playoffs early on, and turned his back on him the next two seasons, and vicious at it too.

People would turn on Green just as easily.

    JJ Fatt no debate

JJ tries to play a real sport despite not being good at it anymore

JJ Fatt "plays" a fake tough guy "sport"

Gerald Green can continue to be happy in Houston with the Rockets on a Vet Min deal next year.

Yes, but only if he plays and shoots like Brewer.

The reason everyone turned on Brewer was that he was being rewarded with a buttload of playing time and shot attempts when he clearly wasn't worthy of either. I have a hard time believing that'll ever happen with Green given the depth on this team and the fact that D'Antoni can actually coach unlike JB.

Green is so humble tho.. he truly understands how to be a professional and what it means to have a job in the NBA.

All these busts and scrubs out there wheelin and deelin need to learn from GG.

    H-Town forever.

    Respect.

Been there, done that... lol! No worries...

I definitely wouldn't hold it against him if he left to get more elsewhere... I love what the dude brings and will prob continue to be a fan regardless of if he stays or goes...
I just worry that if he gets a decent contract, he's gonna become the next Corey Brewer... Brewer is another really good guy... but once his game went in the crapper, his contract became an albatross and he was constantly flamed on this board... I'd hate to see that happen to GG... and I see a lot of similarities...
Otoh, he may be happy with a cheap deal to stay in town - if he knew he wasnt gonna just get dished and end up playing on a cheap contract somewhere he has no desire to be...

    Something for Morey to finesse...

Anyone going to the next home game?

Put up a sign that says, "Daryl, please don't trade GG!"

James must be hooking him up with Strippers and p*rn stars.

I would be happy too if I got to do sloppy seconds from Jame's selections of girls

Capela isn't going anywhere , the team has the right to match any contract he is offered as a restricted free agent , even if it is in excess of the cap.

declining his option to then offer him 3 years at 60% more, throw that in with the whole Chandler Parsons thing, and it was all a bunch of the nonsense surrounding Dwight Howard involving Dan Fegan.

Is this a joke or am I missing something? I thought he's making like $1M this year, and that fine was for $25K...
