A guy thats been seating out as long as he has - to have his hometown team bring him; my guess means more to him then losing once in 2 months. GG has had a lonnnnng journy back in the league - So let's just be happy for the man...

He is starting to play in control and his confidence is increasing. If he continues with that, he will get minutes in the playoffs. Unless MDA goes coocoo. I fail to see why Nash is here, unless he is a stud. We need a replacement for Wright instead.

    A. Why the F@CK should GG do that??? He's playing for quite possibly his last decent pay day of his NBA career and you think he should just ignore that and take potentially a lot less money??? That's stupid and no one, especially the fans, should chastise him if he decides to get paid for what will probably be his last time ever.

    B. And it what world do you think someone like GG would receive a no trade clause, especially from a GM like Morey??? Could you imagine where we would be if Morey gave every "feel good player" a no trade clause instead of treating them like "assets" (which btw is such a stupid and tired narrative)??? We'd be stuck w an injured PBev and no cp3 for starters.

    Time to join reality buddy.

I didnt realize you had to have 4 years of service - good to know...

Just spitballin some way to keep GG in the fold without him becoming our next 'Corey Brewer contract'...lol

Obviously he loves being on the Rox... and I gotta believe he'd take less money if he could ensure his continued presence in Houston... oh well, Morey will just have to offer 'assurrances'... lol

sorry, i got riled up in the nick wright thread listening to vlaurelio flip his lid.

yes, GG probably could be convinced to stay for less. i just don't think the fans should expect it from him bc it simply isn't fair to him. no one here should get upset if he happens to take a lot more money elsewhere.

wow the best quote was when Gerald Green said I can't get down on myself, because the guys will get mad at me.. that just shows how much positive energy there is in the locker room and on the court, that they kill any negativity or despair as soon as they see it.. I don't think I have seen a team play with this level of offensive prowess ever.. they are just so damn dominant, and every player no matter if they play 10 minutes or 35 minutes is just estatic..
