it is not a competition you know. Glad both are Rockets. Green had been shooting poorly lately until today

Joe Johnson would've yawned if Chris was pushed in front of him.

He is, but GG is responsible for the Wolves energy because he pushed Djeng - I mean GG is an offensive weapon, but he is just not all that reliable.

Everyone needs a friend like Green. I would have been mad if nobody stepped in.

Green literally led the team in +/- today. He's far more reliable than Joe Johnson and provides the team energy that JJ can't. The ejection was a terrible call. A push should be nothing more than a T

green was also a part of the rockets being up 20+ and the rockets bench dominating the wolves bench.

still a dumb ejection on his behalf but that's exactly the type of energy this team needed on a 2nd night of a back to back.

Ejection or not, someone needed to get CP3's back. You can't have their scrubs pushing your star guard into the seats...

It was necessary. Lonzo Ball got clowned the hell out of on all the sports shows because he didn't stick up for his teammate earlier this season. That's how the league is. Also it should not have been a ejection. Should've been a double T and play on but whatever.

the shove was a little much. he was basically tempting the refs to eject him at that point.

i can understand the get in his face, talk ****, fake tough guy nba ****, but when you shove a guy into the first row, and he falls into fans sitting court side refs are gonna most likely get him outta there. especially a non-superstar like gerald green.

remember this is the post-malice at the place nba.

Wow that's the wrong mindset. You stick up for your teammate and let your team back up the talk on the court, even if does give them energy. It's called having strong mental fortitude. This isn't pee wee basketball.

You go to war with the guys that have your back.
...and Gerald always has the backs of everyone on this team.

It is why everyone on the team like him.

Yeah it is what it is Green fits in more. Iso Joe will have one big game in the playoffs... like Nene did last year hopefully.
