Yea better than what we have in our bench right now. With no Cp3 or Luc. Weber isn’t cutting it who else do we have to bring off the bench. He is athletic and can shoot 3s. Hopefully it works out here and he helps. Would be nice if he played against Boston and he shows them.
Green will be told to shoot layups/dunks and 3 point shots. If he does that, and avoids the bath salts, he may stick around if D'Antoni gives him a shot. He shoots 65% from 3 feet out and 35% on threes. If he cuts out his garbage shots he can have a fairly high TS%. He can also cut to the basket off the PNR/Screen and get lots of dunks from Harden.
We need another guy that can do a lil more than just spot up out there. I think he can create his own shot a lil bit. Attack and try to dunk err thang and compete on defense. Thats all we need him to do when he is in. It will be interesting to see what he has left.
Finally he gets to play more than 1 game for us. Well, hopefully. I mean, it's a 1 year deal at the least, though an NG one.
This is all I'm hoping for as well. If we don't get one crazy alley-oop and/or dunk from him then it's a bust signing.
