That's not a rule, but a good rule would be to try and get more out of a conversation than a one line quip.
I'm convinced if Gerald Green had 10 fingers and entered the league with a more mature mindset, his entire career would've been different. He spent too much of his younger days jerking around getting into trouble off the court. He was projected to be like T-Mac when he was being scouted and originally was a lottery pick but because he only chose to work out for a select couple teams, he fell to 18th in the draft. You can actually see a lot of T-Mac in him when he's playing. Fun fact, his cousin Danny Green plays for the Spurs.
Solid play tonight. Only 12 points but still provided a spark, he added 6 rebounds and 4 assist along with a block
Most complete game so far. This is the type of game I prefer from him when Harden and his scoring return.
i hate these injuries and all the loses we got.. but can you imagine our depth when Harden, Luc and Nene come back.. we are 11 deep.. We better not have any player going over 34 minutes at full strength
Another thing I like about Green is that he isn't a ball stopper. He won't waste time shooting the ball or attacking the rim. And won't hesitate to keep the ball moving to the open man. Dude definitely has an itchy trigger finger lol but we can live with some of the bad shots. He can be are other 6th man like Lou Williams was last year.
I think the most effective play we have for Green is that curl play where he catches the ball off a screen & either drives to the basket, shoots a midrange j or passes it to Capela. The defense has to respect his athleticism so we're guaranteed a good shot off that play
