How many Euros immediately play well once coming to the NBA? If Mike D can get Gentile and contribute, then that's good as he'll be cheaper than most other role players. Too bad Llull never had the confidence that he could succeed in the NBA. After Gentile, there aren't any Euros the Rockets have stashed away that can help?
Part of me wondered if these Euro-stash guys might just come over now that we've hired Pringles. Can't hope for Llull, I suppose.
A boom or bust type. Volume shooter, offensive gunner mid range shooter lacking 3pter and athleticism, weak rebounding and defense for his size, with a Kobe #1 option mindset. Not a 3&D role player type, needs ball in his hands. He can play off the ball some still. Don't discount Mike D'Antoni's Italian ties, that could be something of influence more than just "Euro". Could fit with the current system though that asks him to score first

I dont' like him much, but at that price why not? We can't get anyone good for the MLE anyway after the caprise.
Thanks for the heads up! Edit: I just want to clarify that there is some doubt that Gentile will play since his season just ended and the national team has already started training. For those interested, you can watch Gentile play for Italy in the 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments held from July 4-10 There are three tourneys with the 3 respective winners moving on to the Olympics in Rio Italy will play in the Turin tourney and face some tough competition in Croatia, Greece, Tunisia and Iran. That means Gentile will be matched up against Giannis and Mario Hezonja (both have confirmed they will play). Other guys include Bojan Bogdanovic, Dario Saric, Salah Mejri, Jorge Gutierrez, Gustavo Ayon, Kosta Koufos and Hamed Haddadi. Sorry DD, but V-Span retired from the national team --------- I'll also mention that while Lithuania has qualified already, it is still up in the air whether DMo will join the team. You're going to have to dream about Clinty "dropping that ass" since Switzerland did not qualify for anything. Spain has also qualified and while Lull is a given, we may need to pay attention to Juancho Hernangomez, the 20yo 6'9" F with range projected to go mid-2nd rd Spoiler <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Juan Hernangomez (<a href="https://twitter.com/juanchohg14">@juanchohg14</a>) isn't missing at the Relativity Pro Day. <a href="https://t.co/TzeRguHLzC">pic.twitter.com/TzeRguHLzC</a></p>— Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/status/739526676464447490">June 5, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> I know Morey certainly was
