Neal close to signing with the Bucks

Bucks, as @ESPNSteinLine reported earlier, are frontrunners 4 Gary Neal. I will never understand the Bucks. It's like they want to be mediocre. Every move they make seems to be designed to maintain their mediocre status.
They have an ownership mandate to be competitive and go for it. Honestly I admire owners who say they don't want to lose.
It's a career move. He'll get more PT in Milwaukee and hence be able to maintain value for a future contract. Instead of getting sparse minutes on a contender.
No chance he comes to us. We can't offer more than the room exception, and he's getting at most 20mpg assuming he beats out all his competition in camp. Unless he really, really wants to win, all the other teams provide a lot more for his future.

San Antonio just won't die. No way they let Neal escape to a team in the same division, much less state.. They learned their lesson with Scola.
