As a Spurs fan perspective Neal was one of my least favorite players on last years team, and glad he is leaving.

Boy he can score & shoot, and isn''t afraid of the moment but he will jog down to other side of the floor, be in his own world on defense and his man has a right open jump shot.

He can handle the ball for like 3 seconds after that it's going to be a disaster, and would get in pops dog house for shooting too fast.

He can be a decent Delfino replacement, but playing him back up point guard would be a disaster like 2011 when the Spurs finally got to the Thunder. Parker and Neal aren't the greatest off the ball defenders is the reason that Chalmers and Miller got so many open 3's, not too sure how good Lin and Beverly are off the ball, but I'm glad we don't have to deal with Neal now, and got a nice replacement in Belenilli.

We already have that guy. His name is Aaron Brooks, and he's better at creating his own shot than Neal (albeit Neil has a slight edge in 3 pt accuracy).

Don't worry, we're use to that in Houston after watching TMac for so many years.

The National Houston Gary Neal run. This will be a 5k lapping around the Galleria district. Sounds promising.

Probably but I can't fathom anything better than Neal or Miller getting a buyout. I'd atleast take a shot at it now. A vet cut at the deadline can choose where he wants to go as well and lots of playoff teams will be looking for bench depth

Ok, so who has $$ left to offer him a substantial increase? Has the market dried up?

Sorry guys didn't mean for it to come out that long.
And when I involve the rockets players I did that is worst
Case scenario of what we would have to give up.
Im not saying it would cost us that much

Anyone have a list of players from the past year or two that got cut/bought out at the trade deadline as an example of the types of players that might be available then?
