    At the start of someone's tenure, that's what you hope for. But it rarely works out like that and 8 years in, I think the rest of us knew Gary wasn't one of those coaches who was going to be a lifer.

    They really need to clean house. Rick Smith hasn't gotten the job done either. Watt was his only home run and Phillips had a lot to do with that pick.

    Does anyone else stomach churn when ya heard Rick Smith talk about how its unacceptable of us losing. Part of it is coaching, but part of it, is the players you drafted Rick... the way he's talking, it's like he's beyond reprimand...

    *the hate is strong in this one.

    And that pretty much officially closes the book on Schaub. Doubt he'd go with a coach who's want to continue with Matt (you know that'll be discussed in the interview). The question is, is he looking for a guy who says he can win with Keenum (a la Carr)?
