In games 7 through 12, the Texans while under Gary Kubiak's guidance are 10-20. From 2006-2010 they played 19 road games (5-14) and 11 home games (5-6). Their best record during this stretch was in 2008 when they went 3-3, and at their worst they were 1-5 last year 2010. That stretch is what makes fans hate the Texans after they come out in the first 6 games teetering at .500 (14-16 excluding this season). However, games 13 and 14 (6-5) are the re-inspire games. These are the games the Texans win, and they begin to give fans hope that maybe they will finish 9-7 and get a wild card spot. Disappoint then strikes in game 15: 2-3 under Kubes, this is where the team falls apart and fans lose all hope. Better yet is game 16: 6-0, undefeated under Kubiak. The Texans probably win this game because Gary thinks "gee, I better save my job and go 8-8 or something like that". Or it could be that Gary has never ended the season on the road.
Interesting stats. It's like Kubes 1-18 record in road matchups against teams who finish with a winning record.
Here's some analysis: We have never played in such a **** division. We will make the playoffs. Unless we lose every single game from here on out.
Unless we lose to the Titans twice Being 9-7 and they 9-7 with two direct wins over the Texans . . . then the Texans are sitting on the side lines again No matter what anyone says THIS GAME THIS WEEK IS A MUST WIN! Rocket River
