Sick.....I can't freaking wait. Black Sails has been doing a great job of filling the time....but man, can't wait. That last scene.
Looks like we are finally going to get a flashback I've been wanting to see since the first season Spoiler Tower of Joy baby!!!
So.... a good friend of mine and my wife's good friend was in town & went to happy hour with us. That good friend just so happens to be a production manager for Game of Thrones. Wont give names for obvious reasons. I'm not going to give out the spoilers that I got because I don't want to rob you guys/girls of the experience, but I will just say this.... The Spoiler Jon Snow situation is not what it would seems. and the Spoiler White walker situation is not what it seems. She tried her hardest to be very cryptic because like I just mentioned, she didn't want to rob me of my experience (which I thought was pretty cool that they care that much about how we experience the show), but there were some pretty big pointers as mentioned above. Also there is a heavy body count this year, and I did get out of her that there is one other character that dies this season you wouldn't expect, but you would if you think about it. My guess is it is Spoiler Jamie Lannister but she wouldn't say. She seemed oddly surprised I guessed that. Anyways, thought it would be fun to share with you folks. *one other thing - Keep in mind that A Song of Ice & Fire is a nod to a Robert Frost ANTI WAR poem. Hence Anti-War. This whole lead up to a big battle of Dragons vs. Ice Zombies.... don't expect it to be that straight forward.
^^^ Sounds like she read the books. Isn't this news just like a book-reader spoiler. Not sure, because I didn't really read your post. You probably should have spoilered the whole thing.
If only there were books to read. The show is now ahead of the books and when GRRM finally does release Winds of Winter it's probably going to be so different from the show that'll seem like an alternate universe. So no one can give out spoilers now, just speculations and theories.
From what I can tell, sounds like GRRM is changing plot as he writes his books that the show was planning on doing, and the show has derailed the original plot blueprint as well based on characters taking natural progressions. There really aren't spoilers yet for how the series is going to end. However talking to someone who works on the show obviously they know season six of the show. But I'll tell you this, you can tell that they really truly care about how we as viewers experience the show which is cool. What I said isn't really spoiling anything. The only thing to note is that if you think the series is all about a big battle of zombies vs dragons, you might be thrown off. The people writing and producing the show seem to be going for more depth in the conclusion than just spectacle & CGI Peter Jackson type battles.
