To be fair, both character's were written terrible in the books. Sansa was just as cringe worthy in the books. She is casted fairly well to her character, so its a little challenging in knowing if its her acting skills or her character. Either way, for the most part, she has nailed it. Daenerys was back and forth in the books. It doesnt matter who the actress casted for the role, they would struggle to do well on screen. Emilia Clark is flat out terrible as an actress. This was compounded on a bad role with a worse actress. We are fortunate to have Peter Dinklage, who is a great actor, playing a great role.
heard James Hibberd who saw the premier at a movie theater say difference with this premier from previous seasons is that they hit the ground running and events pick up right where they left off
What's up with Gollum's girlfriend making an appearance. Something to do with bringing back Jon Snow?
I think it ties in with Jon. I think the point of that scene is to show that each time she uses any powers it ages her. I think the point of the scene in relation to Jon is to show that she only probably has one more revive in her before she dies.
I don't think the magic ages her, I think she is really that old and the magic sustains her and the necklace hides her true self. I'm guessing she is having severe confidence issues at this point since both Jon Snow and Stannis are dead.
I wonder if there will be an uproar about Jon Snow not being "alive" yet. Will GoT get flack for prolonging his resurrection? I know everybody was like, "HERE WE GO!" (Super Mario voice), When Melisandre walked in and saw Snow on the table.
I think we probably get the Spoiler tower of joy flashback scene next week which will take up a lot of time and probably push things to the 3rd episode before we get a resolution.
too on the nose. Dwight is the Baratheon b*stard Gendry. Still paddling to King's Landing. Not there yet. There's a metaphor in there.
