By what metrics are you basing this off of? And which Mitchell are you talking about? I hope you dont mean Donovan Mitchell?
The guy is a legit star. Post trade deadline they gave him the reigns and increased his role, went from about 20mpg for 35mpg. His post trade deadline stats: 22.6 ppg/9.8 reb/1.9 ast on 55.8% shooting, 39.7% from 3 on 4.1 attempts per game, 61.3% eFG and 65.1% TS. He's only 24 years old. This guy is incredible, one of the most perfect fits for the rockets. He's 6'10 with a 7'3 wingspan and he's an outstanding defender. Though he's mostly unknown to fans, from what I've read he is very well known to front offices, lots of teams want him, and his value is incredibly high. I don't even think we have the assets to get him. EDIT: He also does very well in the advanced all-in-one stats (RAPTOR, PIPM, RPM, etc), if you like those
I watched this video on him Those are great numbers....but his 3 point shooting is likely to regress but itll likely still be good enough to space the floor. He's great and I would love LOVE to have him. He's a great fit for us....But to say he's already better than Siakm or Donovan Mitchell, I think think its safe to say I dont think he's THAT level...especially in regards to Donovan Mitchell, maybe that guy was talking about Mitchell Robinson.
