The way the game is going, I think ONE attack by either Morris or Simon Phoenix and a mistake by MEX will dictate the game. :(

I think my only hope for the rest of this game is that no one gets hurt because of the field. This will probably be the last game that the Alamodome gets to host. Mexico can draw in enough other places that have fields that aren't such a piece of s***.

EDIT: Just as I post this, Beckerman appears to have hurt himself with no contact.

    DOS A CERO!

The pitch will likely get a lot of the attention in the talks about this game, and in a way deservedly so. It was an embarrassing excuse for a field. Still, it was equally as bad for both sides. I hope future matches are played on well established playing surfaces from now on though. It's dangerous to make players go out and play on that.

An average performance from Cubo. He was both not bad and not good on tonight's game. He did get a few shots on goal and that was it.

I should have expected this with an inexperienced goalkeeper and a bad field, but the U.S. and A. played their butt off because it was 8 World Cup 2014 players versus one Mexican one. They played a lot better and won fair and square. No complaint from that. Well won.

    Más puto indeed, moes.

Hope y'all win something significant next. SEE YA'LL in the GOLD CUP!

Klinsmann has never lost to Mexico regardless of the lineup they have put out there. This was a weak Mexican selection, but that fact still remains.

^ And I'm not the only one cherry-picking stats, you see? We're taking some of those back, though... y'all have been good, no doubt about that.

True. No denying Klinsmann's wit. The last win was the 4-2 comeback in Gold Cup championship in Pasadena's Rose Bowl.

Also, Klinsmann has never had to face THE BEST Mexican team in his tenure. 3-0-2 is his record but never has he played the best team Mexico can field. That tie at Azteca in qualifiers was probably his best "win."

Your own boy Marcelo Balboa mentioned it in the telecast. "It is not to be left unsaid that this was a team with more World Cup 2014 players than Mexico, and that's not to say it was a landslide margin of a win, but it is to be seen if with the addition of Jozy after suspension served and Dempsey after injury. It will definitely be a different game once Mexico gets all their Euro and Domestic best players back for the Gold Cup."

I forget, but are y'all even going to the Copa América?

I know Herrera has mentioned he's taking all his good players and not disappointing with a younger group like the dismal performance last Copa.

I am more than sure that with World Cup .5 place of the 2018 Confederations at stake, Mexico will field its best. To take it back...

I forget...didn't the US start an amateur at forward who also scored a goal?
