Haha, seriously? So we will never lose with Yao in the lineup last year. You have the count the entire year for your logic to work. But this is not the point I am trying to make. We are a better team with Yao last year and everyone knows that. Just like we know if we have a HEALTHY Tmac, we are a better team.

When do you think Tmac was healthy in the past 3 years?

I was just picking a period when Yao was in and out of the lineup about equally often (it happened to be around our 22 game win streak). We were not better without Yao.

If we have a healthy #1, we are a better team. But TSlack is either not healthy mentally or physically or both. He should not play. That's all I am saying.

same argument can be use for Yao too, kinda unfair that Tmac is getting all the blame.

Irrelevent, toss it out your honor.

We are not talking about last year, the year before or any other year, we are talking about this year.

    NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

Well in that case, I agree that we are better this year without Tmac, but I also think we are not going to get anywhere in the playoff without a healthy Tmac

The Rockets finally blew out a cellar dweller this last game, the Kings. They finally played some defense. They did a decent job of moving the ball. Compare that to the NY game or the Milwaukee game.

It's not even close. It's night and day. The Rockets are much, much better without McGrady.

You're being a jerk for no reason.
The same thing applied last year to Yao, and it does this year to T-Mac..
    <br>
So far, the team plays better without Tracy this year..
    No one should deny that

I think some of the Tmac Defender fans are scared that Tmac will retire or get traded to another team, and they they won't have a team to root for anymore, or, they'll have to find another team's message board community to talk about Tmac in... It's a tough future of possibilities to face for them, I have to admit.

coolthunderz, this is what northeastfan said initially ...
If Yao were injured and playing every other game to the detriment of the team, trust me, he'd be getting it from the left and the right. True, you can't necessarily blame a player for an injury, but there are different ways to handle it. For the situation at hand, #1 needs to be benched, he is hurting the Rockets terribly. The numbers of the actual team performance confirm it.

    You too.

Just read my post. What applied last year to Yao? We have better record vs 0.50 team when he was out?

Won crap teams and lost to elite teams is nothing near to be a better team

It's almost like to say we are not going to get anywhere in the playoff if Alston cannot shoot 60%.

    Yes sir!
Those loony fans that actually like T-Mac are pesky ones...
Their wily antics such as liking the Rocket's player are maniacal indeed!

That's BS. The whole team was in chaos before January last year. Then Rox got things fixed. They were 16-0 in the last 16 game Yao played, and Yao was the best player during that stretch.

Even with the terrible first half, Rox was 65% with Yao, 70% without Yao, not that much a difference.
