Here are some funny quotes that I found on the vast Internet:

"NBA, where 1 for 12 bricks happen"
"maybe they should get shaq to tutor them how to shoot FTs"
    "just hack-a-rockets"

    And this is my favorit:
"We did one good thing," Detroit coach Flip Saunders said. "We defended very well at the free-throw line."

Feel free to add your wits ;)

"They figured out how to defend us, just foul us, grab the rebound and come at us."

I think (darn it I just read it too! LOL)

Missing that many free throws was not funny. It's only funny when the other team misses :p

Steve covering his eyes while they shot Free throws was hilarious. I also loved Deke's facial expressions.

"Rockets suck at shooting free throws! They make Ben Wallace's free throw shooting look like Steve Nash's!"

To look on the bright side, our free throw shooting was like a good day at the stripe for Shaq :)

He only "should have missed" it if he had made the first one. As it was you have to take the fact of a point over the chance of the shot clock.

he shoud've hit both......if you miss the 2nd, they grab the rebound and call time with .4 left they can stil catch and shoot........you make both, you're up 4, just let them shoot and even if they hit a 3, it takes longer than .8 for the ball to go in, you win anyway.

valid point. I just meant if you were going to go for the "Let the clock run" train of thought then the first one HAS to be made if not, one shot can lose you the game.

Every guy on the team that missed free throws last night should have to shoot 100 for every one they missed.

Without a doubt, the best quote was when McGrady blamed the fans for the team's horrible free throw shooting.

We really should start a "who/what can Tmac blame next?" thread. It's only a matter of time before he blames global warming, nuclear proliferation or the second shooter on the grassy knoll for the horrible play of this team.

I think TMac was just describing how he felt, he wasnt trying to blame someone else.

Bill Worrell. Every missed free throw in Rockets history occurred because of his jinxing. Now go get him T-Mac!
