No kidding. Especially with the rake. I do itch to go to a casino in Louisiana sometime in the next few months though once I get some money to waste.

I have 45,000,000 of free money at Party Poker, and I won it all in 2 years with no transferring.

Yes, I used to get bored a lot before I met my hooker.

I thought partypoker had a 20 million dollar cap on fake money and a 100% ban on all american players?

Most poker sites don't care that players are colluding...using Skype and they have no way of knowing.

No idea. Maybe they changed the rules, but I logged in the other night to play a 7 card stud tournament and I still had over 45 mill in the bank.

Obviously no ban on American players for fake money.

With fake money Skype is not needed. All they need is a free table at 3am and a player with 300 mil can transfer anything they want to a n00b as long as the table stays free of other players. One bets 999,000 the other ups him by 1 then the other player folds. So on and so on. In about ten minutes, the n00b has 10 million of free money and heads off the play.

Really gay, but so is free poker.

your post couldn't be more incorrect.

and I'll say it again, most players do not know how to profit from such collusion. If David Skalansky can't do it......I doubt 3 or 4 hacks can figure it out.

Actually, sites do care. And they do have ways of knowing. Can't tell you how many 2+2 threads I've read where someone accuses a user of cheating, leading to a 40 page thread of investigations and research from other users who have stats tracked on them, and reporting to the poker sites to catch them.

Yeah a few years ago, I played on Bodog and finished third in a SnG. They emailed me a few hrs later and said the top two players in there were cheating and credited my account with first place money.

I will "third" the disagreement with this, having some experience with people in the poker community that ran an online poker site some years ago. While nothing is perfect, and people will always find a way to cheat at anything, there are safeguards, and the monitoring of this is through the roof. Also, as i recall, when you sign up for one of these they tell you that they may monitor applications running on your computer... if I'm not mistaken. Are there ways around that? yes of course, but between that and the monitoring of the games, especially of people who are suspect, I would guess that it's at LEAST as fair as any table game you might find.

A bigger problem with online poker is that when you play against as sea of players who think they're at a slot machine, it can be more frustrating than "playing with my brother's kids" as a friend of mine likes to put it in situations such as that. Playing at a table with a couple of those players? Cha ching... playing in a tourney where 90% of the people play that way? Disgusting.

Did Full Tilt do away with the option to withdrawl directly into a bank account? Couldn't find it last time I looked for it.

It is not hard, you get 3 or 4 people on skype, share card info and it increases your odds in a sit and go with only 10 people significantly.

It is prevelant and unprovable and the sites do not care, they get their rake anyway.

The only way it even comes to their attention is if someone reports it and there is no way of tracking whether or not they are really cheating, but you can check their hand history from the server side and get an idea, but people who have played together on Skype before can get around that by just losing a few hands to the others in their group....making it impossible to prove.

How do I know? I was working on a MMO style 3D poker room with the creators of Golden Palace, we were in negotiations with Sheldon Addelson to make the room for his place in Maccau.....it has been tabled until the US legalizes online play....which I hope Barrack does.
