He't right sometimes and has some serious posts, so it's okay for me. But I gotta say icecreamman is the worst poster atm and adds absolutely nothing to the board, while making one r****ded "Steven Curry is the worst player ever" thread and post after another. Don't get why he hasn't been banned or lost his thread-starting ability yet.
I agree with you. I once "called out" an entire forum (you can probably guess which one), but starting a thread aimed at an individual member should be off limits, in my opinion. That's what "ignore" is for. Someone said that they miss members on ignore not appearing at all when you're logged in and reading the BBS. I think we should return to doing it that way. Someone on ignore? They "literally" disappear. What I'd really like to see happen at ClutchFans is the ability make the ignore function forum specific. There are members I have on ignore that are on ignore due to posts in a particular forum, yet I enjoy their posts elsewhere. Someone who drives me crazy in the GARM might be very enjoyable to read in Hangout, for example. Another who is maddening in D&D might be enjoyable to read in the basketball forums and Hangout. I've mentioned this before and think it would improve the BBS experience for a lot of us.
That's a good idea, and while we're dreaming: I'd love to have an ignore function that blots out the ignored person being quoted by others.
That's a good idea, and while we're dreaming: I'd love to have a "Being Ignored BY" function! I'd like to know who is ignoring me, there is no sense in replying to someone in a thread IF you're being ignored by that person. Spoiler I often feel like I'm talking to myself... ....... ....... .......
Thread specific would be even better. Not sure if it is possible. It'd be great if I could say, "I don't want to see this poster in this thread anymore" and poof they were gone.
Then we'd probably be scrambling to see if the goofus we put on ignore in that thread is pulling the same BS in this other thread we're starting to read. While I can see where that could be another plus, I'd be happy with being able to have the ignore function forum specific, and add the way it used to be, where you don't see them at all. If you didn't see them quoted, either, that'd be awesome. -
How about if the BBS provides Ignore Suggestions. "You have user X on ignore. You might also enjoy putting user Y and Z on ignore as well." This would be based on mining how others ignore. Ignore Advanced Analytics. The Data Science of ignoring.
LOLs. Why would he put me on ignore? I haven't had any run-ins with him... wait, I've never had any run-ins with anyone.
Use of smileys have significantly dropped ever since you stopped posting in the Hangout. Smileys are an endangered species now.
