Thats about as credible a source on the benefits of government intervention into healthcare as Ludacris.
Oh I know - I've had individual insurance my whole adult life. But the number of those business owners is dwarfed by the number of people making $30K at jobs that provide no insurance.
I'm a small business owner and I pay a fair amount for insurance without getting great coverage. That said I support health care reform. Yes the program passed is far from perfect but the status quo as now sucks and if health care exchanges and universal coverage can reduce costs I'm willing to give them a shot than what we got now.
I don't know about Ludacris but her comments don't sound that well informed. I'm willing to give her a break as these are just snippets of a longer interview.
