I skimmed the article quickly... but why would Toronto trade Kyle Lowry for Jeremy Lin?

If the trade is on the table, Morey please do it
Rockets rent Lowry and download lin contract for 2 seconds!!!!

If lowry doesnt stay after this season it is still ok, we won a lot of cap space and if we trade asik for an expiring and pick(s) we can have something near as max cap space this offseason.

I agree..... I think that you need to either include a #1 (this draft now is over rated IMO) or you take back a contract (Novak or Hayes) or give something that will motivate the Raptors to make the move.

Lets not forget, all the teams in the NBA are looking at the injuries to Wade and would LOVE to add Lowry for the stretch run... which means we have to offer the best deal.

    Carl Landry
    Brad Newley
    Joey Dorsey
    Maarty Leunen
    Jermaine Taylor
    Sergio Llul
    Chase Budinger
    Chandler Parsons
    Furkan Aldemir!
    Isaiah Canaan

Let's not overrate the success of the 2nd round pick in the hands of Morey.

If I were Lowry, I would at least ask for Lin's contract 3/$25MM....Lowry is better

Lowry was terrible when he had to play with Rudy Gay. I don't think he can sustain his current level of play next to Harden. Add to that his stressed relationship with McHale and I don't think it's worth the risk to trade for someone who can walk out on us. And this is coming from a big Kyle Lowry fan.

This would be a huge steal. I think Morey would do this trade in a heartbeat.

That would be a surprise if Toronto lets him leave.

Didn't we have a PG rotation of Lowry and Dragic?

    Oh morey morey

We should do a three team deal than, something like Lowry Roller to HOU,Asik and filler to a third team(probably in the West) and Lin and picks to Toronto

They wouldn't, unfortunately. Still, it's nice to dream.

Harden is closer to being demar derozen than he is Rudy Gay. They would fit just fine together

Yes we would have the best flopping guard duo in the league.

    yes, & yes again
he's a valuable 3pt shooter (40% on 6 attempts/gm), bust his a** on D, always plays hard, is very quick, he's basically everything we need now from our PG position.
his trade somewhat allowed us to get Harden, it would be "fun" to have em on the same team now :)

I'd love that deal. I'm just not sure why Toronto takes it.

I like Jeremy Lin, but Lowry is the better player.

Morey: Look James, we are getting Lowry back.
Harden: Sure. He can be my SG.
Morey: I am thinking he is playing...
    Harden: NO!
    Morey: But he is a...
    Harden: I am!
    Morey: ...
    Harden: ...

Seriously this trade would benefit the Rockets the most only if the team-coach chemistry is not an issue. Lin Only fans would be happy but not necessarily Lin himself.
