I can't recall a time when I've actually PAID for a Redbox movie. I always keep an updated list of codes on my phone.

No. When I get scratched movies I call the number on the case and they refund my dollar +tax, duh. We paid $8+ for Juno, because... i'm lazy. :)

Who cares about the poster with the list of movies? Not all of those movies are in the redbox all of the time and there are some movies not on the poster in there too. Why does the lady have to have four kids? You're so racist

bladeage, I don't approve your piracy-advocating post. DENIED, sir.
These codes are what RedBox calls "promo codes."

You press "Rent a DVD" on the main screen. Browse through the movies available. Pick a movie you want to see. Press "enter promo code". Enter the code into the qwerty touch keyboard. When you see the charges, they will be "0.00". Check out or choose more movies. Voilá, a free movie!

As stated before, you can use many codes on one credit card, or many credit cards with one code.

    I think it's here: http://www.redbox.com/Help/Signup.aspx .

Somewhere in there, they ask for your cell # and send you an sms text with the new code. I was getting the codes Monday and Wednesday the last few weeks.

^ You get a day-free rental with this code per credit card (meaning you can rent as many as you want with this code with different credit cards each), but if you abuse it and keep it after 9 p.m. of the day after you rent it, you will be punished for being a bad boy (or girl :D ). Don't abuse the system, man! ;)

Here's a free code text. Text Astros to 414141 and you will receive a code for a free RedBox DVD. Do it everytime you want to rent a movie. You get a free code everytime you text. One per day, though. I've been doing this the past two weeks.
