They are childhood friends. Grew up together on the island of Crete, raised in a maze by A tribe of Minotaurs.

Funny tidbit: Greg Smith already has a nickname which is 'Juju'

This is also the nickname of a ANC Youth leader called Julius Malema, who is very controversial for singing old anti-boers (white colonisers) songs and inciting violence and hatred.

It's nice to read where a player really wanted to be here due to the connection with the team/coach. Especially with accusations being tossed around that Morey has made it to where the Rockets are not an attractive option to free agents since they are treated like assets and not players.

I'll take four blocks a night.

I knew this guy should have been on our roster. Honestly hje should replace Jordan Hill. I think he will be an upgrade in terms of defense and power underneath the rim for the team not to be pushed around anymore. Yes it is time to move Jordan Hill. He needs to be included in the upcoming trade that may involve Scola or Martin. That way it frees up time for Greg Smith. Unless of course the Rockets are getting back a center.

All these people saying T-Will needs to see the floor should take note.

He was more impressive in 5 minutes that Dalembert was in 20+.

    GIVE THIS MAN FREEDOM NOW!!

He should be playing at least 10 minutes a game since Hill is out. He is definitely a better option at the 5 than Scola.

He had 2 rebounds and 1 block in 4 minutes last night. He looked so eager to go get some boards when he got in the game.

The Rockets got outrebounded 34-50 and the Jazz were having a layup fest all night. Rockets could've used Smith's rebounding and shot blocking much earlier than the last 4 minutes of the game. He needs to be getting more PT, especially with Hill out.
