Nice job by the Celtics letting Irving go. Nice job by the Hornets letting Kemba go. Nice job by the Warriors keeping Klay. Nice job by the Knicks trading Kristaps. Nice job by the Magic keeping Vucevic. Nice job by Barnes getting that contract. If I ruled the world, I would never give anyone under 6' 4" or over 7' 2" a max contract.
This dude is literally calling for us to sign Seth Curry , and then calling Morey an idiot for going after Jimmy Butler instead. Holy lord...
I'd like to build a decent team around Hardens remaining years, so forgive me for not fantasizing about Jimmy.
KD is such a weird insecure guy, watch him re-sign with the Warriors and citing later that he didn’t want to leave again and go through another media frenzy about “joining” another player.
Don't be hard headed bro. I don't think I have to explain myself, I know you are smart enough to know I am not only talking about going after a player like Seth curry.
There’s no way he stays with the warriors. You’re right about him being insecure and that’s why he’s leaving. He’s gotten everything he wanted from that team and it’s made him one of the most hated players in the nba. He’s trying to repair his image and the only way he does that is to leave. I don’t think he really cares if anyone joins him or not he just wants to be liked again and that doesn’t happen if he stays.
Very, very frustrating. I think Morey is up for the challenge on Butler.....but the problem is Butler is making LA/Miami more of a priority over Houston and there is nothing Morey can do about that, sadly. Morey is going to have to have an OUT OF THIS WORLD presentation to change Butler's mind.
Can you imagine what Morey could pull off if he were a GM in LA or NY? I still hope Morey sticks around long enough to do a complete rebuild in Houston with high draft picks. He has never had that opportunity and it has handcuffed us for years.
Best case scenario imo trade Capela to Boston for Brown and Smart. Worst case scenario, Butler picks Houston
