This years free-agent class doesn't have any all-stars players except Mike Bibby(restricted free-agent). But it does have alot of young athletic role players such as Malik Rose Keon Clark Chauncey Billups Larry Hughes Eddie House Pat Garrity some up and coming players such as Bonzi Wells, Michael Olawokandi, Mike Bibby, Rashard Lewis problem is many of these players are restricted. Do yall think we will even look into the free-agent market. If the draft goes according to plan #1 Ming & #15 a SF then we will have solid amount of depth at each position except maybe SG. Why waste money now when next years class will be better. How about this trade: Houston gets: Bonzi Wells, Alton Ford & future 1st rd(from Port) Phoenix gets: Shawn Kemp,Erick Barkley, #21 pick (from Port) Portland gets: Penny Hardaway,Randy Brown,Kenny Thomas,Jason Collier #15 pick TRADE ACCEPTED Phoenix gets a 2 year early exit opennys salary. (Kemp ends in 2years, Penny in four) and Insider reports the suns want another first rounder Houston gets Bonzi (who reminds me of a poor man's Kobe but he is a hustler that's solid on the boards so he can play 3+ he avg. 17 ppg on a mostly egoistic Blazer team),hometowner Ford, and future1st. Portland is the only team that seems to be interested in Penny, they a solid KT, an #15 pick. What do yall think? BTW, we should get Lenny Cooke with the 37th pick!
your boy Larry is a future all-star?....I hope you are not talking about Larry Hughes....If you are, then he needs alot of work on his shot, his defense, his ability to run the offense, and his ability to be consistent from one game to another. Playing like an All-Star once every 10 games wont cut it. Trust me, I liked the guy for a bit cause he was a Fantasy Basketball Starter on my squad, but I quickly learned that he was a reserve at best.
