Francis' triple-double doesn't look so special now

I disagree. I think a difference of 10pts, 6rbs, 2 asts is astounding. Just consider the remainder...

    10pts - 6rbs - 2asts

That line itself is better than any I recall from recent Rocket point guards.

Add that to the fact that:

    A) Bobby Jackson is not a backup. He is starting for the injured Terrel Brandon

    B) He is a very capable player with good basketball skills.

    C) Francis could average 15 assists a game with a guy like KG down there.

It was a great acheivement by Jackson, a player I really like, but it still doesnt compare in my eyes to Francis' performance.

From the Chronicle's recap of the Minnesota game:

    Bobby Jackson had 17 points,
11 rebounds and 12 assists for his first career triple double as
    Minnesota beat Sacramento at Minneapolis.

Sure, Francis had more points, assists, and rebounds in his triple-double than Jackson did, but just that this back-up PG got the triple-double just puts a whole new perspective on everything.
