    I you remember this past thread that mentioned Fran leaving Chron

    Fran left Chron?

    well... looks like he's doing OK because his article is headline on NBA.com. Doesn't look like the article link is working right now, but if you go to frontpage, it's the first article that appears in the slideshow.

    He has a job with Titan Sports and he writes a weekly article for NBA.com (though it seems perhaps a few per week).

    He's frequently on NBATV's The Beat now also. I don't know why, maybe they find him as an unbiased analyst/writer now.

    I don't know what's the work relationship between Fran and NBA.com. But Fran has been contributing his articles to NBA.com for a while, much earlier before he left chron.
