It's really not worth reading. Those are the worst power rankings by far. And given that they are power rankings - after one week of play - that's saying a lot.

Dime is a streetball (sorta "ghetto") magazine that has since inception featured Allen Iverson 4 times on its covers but not once Duncan, Nowitzki, Nash, or Yao, what do you expect its worth?
Their comment is laughable: "If there's anyone out there who still thinks Yao is the most important player on this team, obviously you haven't watched any of Houston's games. This is 100 percent T-Mac's show." ...and obviously they didn't watch last night's game in which the champions came to our house, T-Mac had an off night (4-14 shooting) and we won anyway. This isn't Yao's team. This isn't T-mac's team. This is the Rockets team. I just don't understand the media's obsession with sayin "this is ___'s team". That's just stupid.

Wow, that's one of the worst rankings I've ever seen. Phoenix at #9? Lakers #4? And I'm sure the Celtics will be pretty good, but I'd wait longer than a week before anointing them the 2nd best team in the league.
