You can not believe what Morey says publicly, he is doing PR for the Rockets, what you can do is listen to what he says when questions are asked and dig though the PR for the truth. DD
2001 Pistons? Let's hope not. http://m.bkref.com/m?p=XXteamsXXDETXX2002.html&t=all_roster&t=all_roster
I would do so if any of his actions in the past would indicate that he isn't truthful in the media interviews he gives. There just isn't Obviously he's not gonna say "Yeah, Aaron Brooks has played like a dog, I intend to trade him", but I would like to believe that you can hear the difference of Morey being truthful and Morey speaking in PR language.
Don't entirely agree. Yes, it's PR spin. I think they want to bring back Chuck. Could depend if they find another team for one or more of their PFs, and if they succeed in acquiring a true 5. The Nene mention? PR, yes: "Hey, we are trying." Only a slim chance to get him, sure, but if Denver doesn't want to lose him for nothing, Morey can make a good offer. Nene won't be worth the money he'll get, but he'll also be worth every penny, if just to balance the roster. Then have Chuck back up the 5 and the 4. (Chuck, don't go!)
