If done right it could work. Like if they use some background music to transition to or out of a commercial break, or when going to highlights, which they already do. But in-game like that sounded pretty awful. I'd rather they raise the mic level on the crowd.
I hate games on Fox, I'm so glad the Texans are in the AFC. Aikman sucks, buck sucks, their ticker sucks, everything sucks
i was watching some of the 49ers game this past sunday when this came on and I was like what the heck is going on here it was one of the worst things ever good thing it was on that broadcast and not one where people would actually be watching the game
Time to go old school. You can't beat the classics... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AkZKeSvrjTE?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AkZKeSvrjTE?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-iuCMBaYuls?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-iuCMBaYuls?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> There's a huge boxset of all the NFL Films music out there.
I say this every time the Texans end up on Fox...their coverage is crap. The ticker is absolutely awful. I thought I was the only one who felt that way.
since the robot is always dancing, maybe they can program it to do the dougie, while the game is going on with the soundtrack
