true rocket fans are used to this mediocrity by now. if tmac is not injured, it's yao. it was just a mattter of time when both will be injured. dang sick bay commandos. major changes need to happen. tired of this injury prone brigade.

could have been MUCH better if nobody was injured. once again, our playoff hopes are derailed by damn injuries. how many years more can we take?

Every year he's injured, I can't defend him any more like he's best center out there.

He isn't dominant as he should be and is always injured.

I'm not hating or anything like that but I hate injuries, and Yao had plenty of those.

Did this hairline fracture occur last night? Or did they just happen to catch something after his ankle sprain?

This medical squad is so suspect.

Come on... This is the last straw. I love Yao and T-Mac but if one of them is resigned in 2010 I'm going to have a hard time rooting for this organization. I understand it's no ones fault, but this is too much. They need to let Morey build a team. We will have so much cap space by getting rid of Yao and T-Mac.

WTF ?! Is there any other team in the playoff without a center?

Can you play with a hair fracture?

Best wishes to Yao, get well soon!

We got out of the first round in more than a decade. We will do it again - better still, this series is not over yet!

Y'all should've seen it coming 10 miles away!

That man is 7'6 and 315lbs, he plays hard and long minutes on court. Human bones and feet are NOT built to withstand that kind of stress. It's simple physics!

    YES YES YES

this is the best news i've heard since t-mac had microfracture!!!!!

i love yao, but we are a much better defensive and rebounding team with him off the court, and the way we've been playing offense with him, we can't be any worse than with him off the court.

THANK YOU BASKETBALL GODS. i am now completely confident that we can beat the Lakers.

there is no way Pau Gasol will have his way with Chuck Hayes in 2 games.

1st Tmac gets injured and is out for the season

2nd Deke gets injured and is out for the season

Now Yao gets injured and is out for the season

Happens every year, nothing new. We need to rebuild definitely, our future is looking dim right now.
