Morey acquired James White, Gerald Green and that tall dude (was it Justin Williams?) to appease you guys specifically and save face. A smokescreen to put a smile on the homers' face. I'm pretty sure this is that.

Maybe he's trying to bring back the original members of Clutch City to save the Rockets. Like when they brought back Hogan to WWE to form the NWO
I wish he had more credentials at the moment, cause I actually think he could be a quality head coach. He's alwasy struck me as a strong teacher mentality - more so than any of the other ex Rockets names typically thrown about. But to choose him over the Spurs top assistant, or Dwayne Casey... not sure that makes sense right now.
People like Cassell talk a great game. I wouldn't be surprised if he came out of that interview leaving a great impression w/ management as the next head coach.
Is it bad to say I'd much rather have him in Washington teaching John Wall than being the coach here?
The net is cast wide indeed. You don't even have to be human to be in the net. Sam is an honorable individual. We can only hope to have such a person ruling over us.
Sam Cassell, as a player, went from being a spark-plug rookie off the bench of a championship team to a savvy starting point guard whose smarts kept him in the league long after his athleticism was a mere memory. He could end up being a phenomenal head coach or a great assistant, especially for our back court.
Where do I sign up? Cassell seems like a perfect candidate... Just my gut... (I've been wrong before)
