So your gf and you decided not to get a dog. odds that you are keeping this little one? In that other pic kind of looks like it has chow in it.
People need to start taking care of their damn dogs, instead of abandoning it like it's a piece of furniture.. Look at me I have 3 dogs, a full time job, a Fat girlfriend, drug addict, a geek and I still managed to take care of them... Just lock them up in chains and keep em in the attic, that's what I do...
You took it out of context, I said when it comes to dogs it comes with full responsibility... I just gave an example of me, I wouldn't want people to be like me, be yourself, an individual....
So, after a vet visit we found out she's 7-8 weeks old. Her guess was that she's a pug/shar pei mix (I don't see it) that will grow to be 15-20 lbs.. She's seemingly healthy without doing any invasive tests. I think we're probably going to keep her. Not as large as I was hoping but she's a good size dog to have in an apt. Thanks for all the input ClutchFans
See my post above...i think I should get a rep for that... I think the shar pei part is easy to see, especially if she has wrinkles on the forehead, as well. Not only that, but a mix as described should be a chill dog. very chill. That and size should make her a good apartment dog. Once you get a yard, you can get her a big, stupid dog to be her goofy companion. haha
seriously, i think its classless. I have a pup, and I can't imagine what kind of coward leaves a puppy ina box for the trash to collect him. Its sad when people don't know where to cross the line. To OP...YOU ARE ONE LUCKY DUDE! That looks like one adorable puppy! It is extremely rewarding when bringing them up from an early age, they form such a strong bond with the family that they are indistinguishable from everyone else. He looks like a golden retriever mix or something, just my ameture opinion but congrats and hope that he lives a happy life with you guys.
These next few months will be tough raising a puppy this young around my gf and my schedule. But I'm willing to put in the work for another member of the family. I still don't see pug/shar-pei - looks more like a chihuahua to me.
cute puppy. i miss that period in dogs' lives. i raised two puppies by myself. so, you'll can manage i'm sure. get that pup a decent sized crate to accomodate growth. that dog needs a home of his/her own. crate training is a good idea. i'm kind of jealous. looks you got a keeper there!
