This time you missed my snark. I do and have given Obama credit for killing Obama. I do and have given Obama the blame for collapsing the economy.

By running up the national debt so recklessly, Obama stunted an economic recovery and continues to set records for high unemployment due to his economic policies. The economy is creeping up despite his decisions, but unemployment has remained over 8% during his entire administration.

Clinton was the real failure -- simply trying to lob a couple cruise missiles (PRE 9/11) proved very costly.

Do you feel the prior administration's policies had anything to do with the tanking of the economy before Obama took office?

    That would be awesome.

    That would be dull.

Total debt is down. The US government is not pushing up borrowing rates either. Find a new argument for why you dislike Obama

SamFisher, do you believe higher energy and food costs are helpful, or hurtful to economic growth?

    objection -- unresponsiveness. It's not a STATEMENT, it's a QUESTION.

Can you please answer my question?

DO HIGHER ENERGY AND FOOD COSTS HELP OR HURT THE ECONOMY?

a lot of editing, then dodging and "maneuvering" from you

tells me all I need to know -- that you don't have enough confidence in your candidate to take on the tough questions.

Let me guess...you're going to trot out the "printing press" argument again.

How many times do I have to school you on the difference between monetary vs. fiscal policy and reserves vs. money before it finally sinks in?

Some 20 trillion dollars worth of wealth was destroyed during the financial crisis, but you're honesty going to argue 1 trillion or so of additional reserves (not money), and another few trillion spent into the private sector via deficit spending is going to be inflationary?

If you're going to argue economic policies, then argue about whether that money is being put to good use. I personally believe better things could've been done...but the inflation argument is just flat-out uninformed.

Oil prices are a global, US production is growing, that means higher profits for the Koch Brothers and the Carlyle Group, that's good right?

Higher food prices are good for Archer Daniels Midland too.

Why do you hate corporate profits?

Sure, any rise in price level in excess of a corresponding rise in wages is harmful to the economy.

My turn. What do you suppose is causing the current rise in food and energy price levels? I'll give you a hint..."The printing press be causing inflation" is the wrong answer.
